Hello. I'm phaedral, or at least that's what I've called myself on the internet off and on for a couple of decades or so. I put up my first web page in 1995, worked as a programmer for a while, have aged more than I care to admit, and probably everything about this site screams out my approximate age and background.

I like to write. I find writing about what I'm reading helps me make more use of what I'm reading. Other forms of expression were unsatisfactory, so I've created this public facing log of some of my thoughts.

I've had many other sites, and still have a soft spot for my old Oblio's Cap project. But this web log, phaedral.com, isn't meant to be so "experimental."

Rather than speak of what it will be, let's just watch it grow.
